Best of the Vineyard Winners Announced

Everything you need to know about Martha's Vineyard according to you.

More than 450 people attended the Best of the Vineyard awards on June 7, held at Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs.

The contest, now in its twenty-second year, celebrates the best the Island has to offer, as chosen by its readers. More than 69,000 votes were cast in eighty-seven categories, from Best Beach to Best Lobster Roll and Best Veterinarian.

Standouts this year included Catboat Charters, which won Best Sailing Charter for the first time, and Rosewater Wine & Spirits, in Edgartown, which was named Best New Store/Business. Best New Restaurant winner The Sweet Life, in Oak Bluffs, is featured on the cover of the magazine.

The complete list of winners and runners-up is available in the July issue of Martha's Vineyard Magazine, on newsstands now. Voting for next year's contest begins July 1 at mvmagazine.com.  For more photos of the festivities, go to facebook.com/mvmagazine.
